ANNOUNCEMENTS

• The new Bible study starting August 4 at is ‘Stepping Up – A Journey Through the Psalms of Ascent’. We will meet each Tuesday evening at 6:30pm in the Fellowship Room of Cando Lutheran Church through September 15. If you are interested, please let either Pastor Bonnie or Carol (968-3105) know to reserve a book.

• KINDERSCHOOL ’09: Creative arts for children age 3 to Grade 2 will be held August 3-4-5 from 9am to 10:30am at the North Star School Lunch Room. Register by July 28! Call Nancy at 968-3643.

• The 9 th Annual Gospel Extravaganza will be held today from 1-8pm in the Cando City Park. Brink lawn chairs, blankets, and friends for an afternoon of music and fun!

• The Towner County Council of American Cancer Society will have a rummage sale Thursday, August 6 from 3-8pm at the Westlind Quonset, South HWY 281 in Cando.

• Cando Area Food Pantry will be having its annual garage and bake sale on Friday, August 7th from 9-3 and Sat, Aug 8th from 9-1. Donations of like new clothing, household and decorative items, furniture, books and baked goods would be appreciated. Please call Sonja at 968-3122 to volunteer or arrange pick up. Items may also be dropped at Cando Lutheran's library in the southside basement. Please label "food pantry."

• AUDITIONS for Children’s Musical 101 DALMATIONS, Kids in grades 2 – 8, is Monday, August 10 at 10:00am at the Cando Audi Theater. Practice will continue until 3:00pm. Registration is $15. Scholarships are available. Performances will be Friday, August 14 at 7:30pm and Saturday, August 15 at 10:30am in Cando Audi Theater.
