Auto Call Back

You need to reach someone, but their phone is busy. Auto Call Back calls the party you're trying to reach every minute for 30 minutes.

Automatically redials the last busy number you dialed.

Bullet To Use

1. After a busy signal, hang up.

2. Lift the handset and listen for dial tone.

3. Press *66 (1166 for rotary).

4. You will hear this announcement:

" The last number you called is busy. You will be notified by special ringing when the line is free. Please hang up."

5. You will receive a special call back ring of three short rings when the line is free.

6. Pick up the receiver and the number you are calling will ring.

7. You may get or make calls while this feature is on.

Bullet To Cancel

1. Listen for dial tone.

2. Press *86 (1186 for rotary).

3. Listen for the cancellation announcement.

NOTE: Auto call back redials the busy number every minute for 30 minutes. If you leave home and forget to cancel it, you will get a distinctive ring five times, but it won't call the other number. If the number you are trying to reach is outside the area serviced, you will hear a recording informing you that the call can not be made.
